Carolyn Bensel

With over 15 years of progressive Human
Resources management experience, Carolyn Bensel is a Director of The Van
Zant Resources Group, Inc (VRG). She is a specialist in the
development, implementation and management of federally compliant
Affirmative Action Plans, including compensation analysis and adverse
impact analysis.
Prior to joining VRG, Ms. Bensel was a
Human Resources Consultant. She has over ten years of experience
developing and managing Affirmative Action Programs for various client
companies. She managed federal compliance audits from statistical
analysis to the negotiation of Conciliation Agreements and provided
management training on the principles of Affirmative Action. Prior to
that, Ms. Bensel had a ten year career with LSG Sky Chefs, a premier
airline catering company, based in Irving, TX. She began her career as
a Production Supervisor in Tulsa, OK. She progressed to the position of
Human Resources Manager at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport,
where she had labor relations, benefits administration, selection and
training, workers’ compensation, EEO compliance, and safety
responsibility for over 1300 employees.
Ms. Bensel’s experience includes: OFCCP
Audits, EO Surveys, EEO1 Reports, Vets100 Reports, EEO investigations,
non-harassment and diversity training, labor relations, grievance
investigations, recruiting, policy manuals and company newsletters.
Ms. Bensel received
her B.S. from Cornell University. She is a member of the Employment
Practices Network of Kansas City, and the Human Resources Management
Associations of Kansas City and Johnson County. |
